School Results

We are so proud and pleased with the achievements of all our pupils in our diverse and inclusive school.

The children at Park Walk make very good academic progress and achieve very well compared to their peers nationally.

In 2022, our results were above National for Reading, Writing and Maths.

Progress Score

Most schools will have progress scores between −5 and +5.

If a school has a progress score of 0 this means that on average their pupils achieved similar results at the end of KS2 (end of year 6) to pupils in other schools with similar results at the end of KS1 (end of year 2).

If a school has a positive progress score this means that on average their pupils made more progress than pupils in other schools with similar results at the end of KS1.

Average Scaled Score

Tests are developed to the same specification each year. However, because the questions must be different, the difficulty of tests may vary. This means we need to convert the total number of marks a pupil gets in a test (their ‘raw’ score) into a scaled score, to ensure we can make accurate comparisons of performance over time.

Pupils scoring at least 100 will have met the expected standard on the test.
